December College Checklist for High School Seniors

Can you believe it?  You’re halfway through your last year of high school! And now you have a couple of weeks off from school to just relax.

But it’s also a great opportunity for you to spend more time focusing on college prep.  Every little step you take now will make the college application process a little easier.

Here are some things for you to consider over your holiday vacation:

  • Pay attention to the deadlines. If you haven’t submitted your applications yet, take note of when they’re due. The last thing you want is to spend so much time on your application, only to miss the deadline!
  • Mind the details. But before you send them off, read every question carefully to ensure you’ve answered them all correctly and thoroughly!
  • Send your test scores. Most standardized tests will send your scores directly to the schools of your choice. If you didn’t choose this option when you registered, make sure the colleges you’re applying to have your test results.

From all of us at Sullivan University, enjoy your holiday vacation!
